Give the gift of weaving!

I'm home again from my month of artist residency in Arizona. It was a marvelous time and I'm having some trouble readjusting to the business of being home again. Fortunately it is the holidays and I can spend more time weaving as weaving is what grounds me.

I'm back at work on my big piece and it feels good to be weaving on the big loom again. Being self-described large-format weaver, I was surprised how much I enjoyed weaving on all the little looms I brought to the artist residency. All of the small diary pieces I wove were done on Hokett looms, and almost all of them were done at 12 epi on a 6-dent loom.

I'll be posting more photos from my residency soon... in between work at the big loom and filling orders for looms for Christmas.

In celebration of the joy of weaving, I'm offering a little holiday package. Order one for yourself or for someone who needs a little weaving time this season. I have limited numbers of these looms left, so if this sounds good, order soon. I will only be selling these looms at workshops after this stock is gone.

I'm offering 20% off the price of these two packages:

  1. Weaving Tapestry on Little Looms online class plus a 6-dent loom kit (contains regular 7 x 8 inch 6-dent Hokett loom, 7 inch shed stick, wooden needle, flat beater).

  2. Weaving Tapestry on Little Looms online class plus an 8-dent intermediate 9 x 10 inch loom.

One other really fun item came from a collaboration with my artist-illustrator cousin, Molly McNeece. We are working on a book about tapestry weaving, but decided to offer a few images from the book as greeting cards. I have some extras to sell.

May you have wonderful holidays. And do some weaving...
